A graduate of the University of Chicago, H-B Studios and numerous regional stock companies, Fritz Weaver first debuted on stage in the off-Broadway production of ?The Way of the World.?
Weaver has won a Derwent Award for ?The White Devil,? a Tony award for ?Child?s Play,? a Tony nomination for ?Chalk Garden,?and appeared in ?Miss Lonelyhearts,? ?Angels Fall,? ?Absurd Person Singular,? ?Family Reunion,? ?Power and Glory,? ?Peer Gynt,? ?Great God Brown,? ?Henry IV, Parts 1 and 2,? and the musicals ?Baker Street,? ?My Fair Lady,? and ?All American.?
Onscreen, Weaver has been seen in ?Fail Safe,? (1964), his film debut, ?Marathon Man,? (1976), and in the television mini-series ?Holocaust,? (1978).
Weaver is married to the actress Rochelle Oliver.
